Message In that case I was about to agree with you...I'm starting to grow tired of the scene :( No one wants to hang out and talk Z cars anymore, many of the big horsepower guys are either selling their cars, breaking their cars or babying them because they are so delicate now. Secrecy beyond what any of you guys can imagine is everywhere...so much "strategy", so much fighting, so many lies and rumors...so much bullshit...I'm just tired of it.

Many of the big things to expect from the scene haven't really panned out...some not at all. Those that have, came with lackluster results. This isn't anyone's fault and there's no one to blame. It is just how the scene is going. A product becomes the gold standard for a while, then all of a sudden it isn't so hot or it has problems, or they stop making it. Time and time again this cycle goes around. Almost four years of this and it feels like we're still so far behind the curve. I forsee most of the Z guys locally selling their cars (for various reasons) and the next group will be the guys that get them for $4k and want to slap turbos on that they found on ebay. The strange thing is, I can't even think of another car that I'd want to move on to. There's no desire for a Supra...or an STI or a Z06. None of that.

I guess in reality I'm happy with my Z as it is...but the scene is so depressing as of late. I think I need a vacation.
